FRONTIERS IN MODERN MAGNETISM

Spin Structures and Spin Dynamics
The purpose is to provide state of the art knowledge on spin dynamics and spin structures as well as perspectives on recent developments. The target group is advanced master and PhD students as well as senior researchers.
The focus will be on the fundamentals of magnetic excitations, phase transitions, and techniques to explore the dynamical aspects of magnetism. The participants will obtain up-to-date knowledge of the most recent developments within the field.
All the invited speakers are well known experts within their fields and there will be substantial time reserved for discussions.
This event is fourth in the series of the joint Swedish-German initiative within the field of modern magnetism, starting at Haus Villigst, Schwerte, Germany in 2007 followed by summer schools in Nässlingen, Sweden (2008), Wolfsburg, Germany (2009).
